Wilde Hill is a family run kitchen and florist that focuses on natural leavened food and wild flowers out of the grounds.
Wilde Hill, is my family and durning lock down I moved back home to our family estate, Wilde Hill. During lock down we decided to spend the time together and live out family dreams.
The story behind Wilde Hill Bakery is that of passion and family. It is a family-run bakery, named after our family home. It‘s inspired by our family’s love and passion for cooking dishes that are healthy, wholesome, delicious, and plant-based. And baking loaves of bread and pastries that are hearty and sourdough.
What grew from curiosity turned into a beautiful bakery.
Here at the bakery, we pride ourselves in making our naturally leavened loaves with love and care. All our loaves are carefully hand-mixed and shaped by our head baker, my dad.
We try our best to bake our loaves of bread, rusks, and pizzas in our wood-fired oven, which our head baker made himself.
We prefer to bake in our wood-fired oven, as we believe they give our loaves of bread that next level taste!
Wilde Hill Bakery makes use of the simplest but finest ingredients. All our loaves of bread and pastries are 100% sourdough, use stone-ground flour, our decade old sourdough starter and filtered and cleaned rainwater that’s collected from Wilde Hill.
