I’ve always been someone who loved interiors, so

I’ve always been someone who loved interiors, so much so that I went and got a diploma in Interior Design at the end of 2023. Then 2024 rolled in, bringing the year of Adler, and suddenly, my days were less about perfectly curated spaces and more about nappies, nap schedules, and navigating motherhood. So, I haven’t used my diploma much yet, and my impostor syndrome has had a field day everyday, but my love for design has never faded. 🏡

If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that you’re never too old, too busy, or too established to chase something new. You can study again, not because you have to, but because you want to. Whether it’s to pivot, explore a passion, or like me just learn for the love of it, it’s never too late to do something that sets your soul on fire. 🤩

I haven’t been online much, partly because life

I haven’t been online much, partly because life has been a sea of noise, deadlines, and early motherhood, and partly because, if I’m honest, I’m not even sure where the start line is anymore. Last year was pure magic, but f%k, it was a ride*. From having a baby to my husband starting his business (and travelling a lot), to everything in between, life has been full-on, full-on in the contradiction of slow, tender moments and absolute chaos, often happening in the same breath. 🙃

I haven’t "found my feet," so this isn’t some triumphant bounce-back post. It’s just the reality check that, while I’d love to disappear into those Pintrest worthy wildflower field in a white dress with my son (or at least into an uninterrupted nap, please, please, please!), social media is a major part of running a small business like mine. So, here I am, showing up, figuring it out, when on some days, I'm genuinely unsure if I remembered to brush my teeth. 😅🤣

Design trends come and go each year, some stay for years and others are here for a good time - not a long time. 😉 While the internet shows us loads of trends for this year, I’m focusing on the ones I love, because after all, I’m the kippie that has to use them. 🤪

This year, I’m drawn to a blend of nature-inspired design, minimalist maximalism, and a hint of Y2K nostalgia (because yes, Y2K is officially vintage 😭).

This mix brings the best of both worlds, a little bit of calm, a little bit of chaos, just like my life. 🤣
