I hope this helps, I know so many clients get overwhelmed in the lead-up to a shoot. But it doesn’t need to be – after all, we’ll be making magic together

Here are some of my tips for a successful shoot.
TIP ONE:
Be mindful of what stories you’re wanting to tell with your images. Images can tell stories, so what is your story? Write it down, your objectives, and then plan your shoot around creating something truly aligning.
TIP TWO:
Ensure you plan a location, scene set up, and or mood board that is relevant to you. That suits you and your brand’s look and feel. Don’t forget to bring along props that reflect the personality of your product or brand.
TIP THREE:
If a branding shoot – plan your outfits to make sure they suit your aesthetic. If a product shoot, plan and organize your products; what should be grouped shots and what needs to be a single shot. I always advise shooting your best seller and your lesser performing ones (so we can highlight them).
TIP FOUR:
This is a little more of a practical tip, but plan your shots out. Create an attainable shot list, and also jot down what size and orientation images may need to be in. If you’re needing a website header, let us know if you need a landscape image, which may need white space for text. Plan out what you need, so that you can maximise your time with me.
Remember, this shoot is about what you need, so plan and ensure it is strategically aligned.
